Welcome To our Dogs Sponsorship Page

We regularly have a number of rescue dogs awaiting a new home. New dogs come in to us all the time and we try to keep the website up to date to allow the dogs to be rehomed as soon as possible.

If you would like details of any of the dogs we have for rehoming please contact Bonnie on 07749 175023.

Thank you for taking the time to consider us.

Toby REHOMED

################## REHOMED #############Toby is a two year old male English Mastiff. Toby is looking for a new home because his owners cannot give him the attention he deserves. Toby is a very friendly boy who would like a new home where he can have nice walks, but he is strong on lead as he has never had any training, so he will need training to help learn how to walk nicely, he does know basic commands. He is not destructive and can be left for a few hours, but not more. Toby is house trained and has lived with children and a small female dog. Toby is NOT cat friendly and is also a bit of a food thief!
In summary;
Toby can
- live with children 10+ (can be too bouncy for smaller ones)
- live with a smaller female dog (subject to intros)
- travel well
- be left a few hours
- not destructive
- house trained
- benefit from some general training
NOT CAT FRIENDLY!

Toby will be neutered, vaccinated, micro chipped, flea and worm treated and will come with 6 weeks free pet insurance. Please call 07749 175023 to offer a foster or forever home.

Max

Please Meet Max, a 18 month old large male crossbreed. A few weeks ago Max was literally at deaths door with his sister Lola (see dogs needing homes album), skeletal frames, severely underweight, locked away from human company and in desperate need.

With lots of nourishing food and TLC Max and Lola have come on leaps and bounds putting on weight (12kg since he arrived!) and finding their fun side of life again. Max is great with people, he is a big loveable, wriggly, tail wagging, goofball who would really benefit from a suitable foster (no dogs at this moment or children) or forever home to continue his journey back to full health.

Max does however, have Hip Dyslpacia, not helped because of lack of muscle around his hindquarters. So we are going to be starting Max on some Hydrotherapy, Physiotherapy and TTouch to start building his strength up.

Max's progress will hopefully be steady and positive. If you'd like to donate to help us with funding his treatment we'd be immensely grateful.

His Hydrotherapy is being provided at a reduced rate and anyone who adopts Max will continue to receive this rate, courtesy of the provider

We'll keep you up to date on Max's progress and if you feel you could offer Max a foster or forever home please get in touch, email dogs@rspcaessexsouth.co.ukor call 07749 175023.

Sadie### RESERVED '######

### RESERVED '######We have in our care saved from the perils of the 'Free Ads Internet curse' a 5 year old German Shepherd female called Sadie. She was underweight and has a drop ear from a previous haematoma. Cruelly given away because she was no longer wanted. The people who viewed her took her as she was in such a state. She is a very friendly girl, walks well on lead is quiet through the night. But she is struggling when left alone currently, it is early days for her so we are hopeful she will settle, but at the moment she's quite needy as you would expect. In her original home she lived with another dog and two cats. If you can help by offering a forever or foster home please call 07941 578141 if you can't help please could I ask you to share? Thank you.

Trigger ### RESERVED '######

### RESERVED '######
Ok, I'm not a lap dog, but you know, if there's one going I'm going to sit on it!

Meet Trigger, a 5/6 year old male Mastiff X (poss Great Dane) who is looking for a new home. Max was signed to us as he was living in the garden as he and the other resident entire male were fighting over the resident bitch who was in season

Trigger is a great guy, friendly with everyone at the kennels and all the workmen who are building at kennels at the moment. He doesn't seem phased by much!

We will be assessing him further over the coming days and he is booked in for his castrate Monday, (sorry big guy!) He weighs in at 52kg and is a little underweight.

To apply to adopt please call 07749 175023

Buzz ##### rehomed #######

####### REHOMED ######Buzz is a handsome, characterful 10 month old male Chihuahua x Jack Russell (more small Jack size than Chi size). He would like an experienced active home. He's great to train and would benefit from further training to enable him to realise his full potential. Buzz can live with children age 10 plus and is fine with other dogs, he is interested in cats in a playful way so any resident cats would have to be confident and dog savvy! If you can offer a FOSTER or FOREVER home please call 07749 175023. Buzz will be neutered, vaccinated, worm and flea treated, microchipped and comes with 6 weeks free pet insurance.

Ralph, Jack Russell #####REHOMED#####

#####REHOMED#####Ralph the Jack Russell is 2 years old, male, and has been signed over to us as he did not get along with one of the other dogs in his household. Ralph would like an experienced Terrier owner, Ralph is very scared in kennels on his own and is understandably needy at the moment. He is affectionate but nervous. Ralph can live with older children but not cats or dogs. Call 07749 175023

Many thanks for coming to our website and please come back as dogs are always coming into our care for rehoming. Thank you again for your interest.

All the dogs/bitches will or will be vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. We ask for a set donation towards these costs.
